Noise and news from 2002 December 19th.....Sweet coils
of life, rounding each other out through hazes of astonishment. I just
got back from Club Sanctuary and met everyone there for the first time.
Every one was real nice, and the venue is SO lovely. I didn't think
the church was going to be so big. Its a perfect place for some noise music concerts. Its three stories, and has a room
on the bottom floor that has a vaulted ceiling all the way to the top
of the third floor, which will be playing noise music. It has like 5
or 6 huge antique metal (industrial as bloodly hell) chandaliers hanging
down, around the place. The celing has inricate metal rafters throughout
it as well. The club also has a screen for video projection! Fuck yeah....I
can finally bust out footage I've been shooting for live sets! It has
4 "technobeam" inteligent lights that looked really pretty
and one really cool green laser, as well as the standard strobes and
color washes. The sound was real nice as well. I am so grateful I met
these people. THANK YOU! This industry is so full of such asshole, ME
ME ME people. This is the type of venue I would have killed someone
to play in a couple months ago and now I actually get to run a night
there. Oh yeah, my weekly night is going to be on Sundays! Thats cool
because I thought it was going to be on Monday or Wednesday. Now people
can travel from further away. Weeeee an industrial/ebm/goth/experimental
club night in a church on Sunday. Its beautiful. its perfect. More info
on that soon. I'll be working on the first flier this weekend.
