TSDF NEWS FOR 2005
July 5th.....I just finished an astronomical redesign of my entire site.
Its the most amount of time, I have ever put into my webdesign, but still
have minor quirks to hash out. The new site design is in celebration of
the completion of my new album. I had previously flirted with the name
"Unleashed" for the album title, but eventually settled on the
more elaborate title Tendrils of Pretty". Its two years in the making,
and my highest calibre work to date. I am so pleased with the end results
and can't wait to share the body of work with the world. I am currently
shopping it around to labels (as I am always up for discussing releases,
but to this date I have never been offered a record contract with terms
I was agreeable with), but will only be doing that for a month or so.
Whether I choose to go the label route, or self release this album (as
I have chosen to do in the past), this album will be seeing release in
a couple months. I will also be playing a live performance of harsh ebm,
psytrance, and electro industrial at The Castle in Ybor City (Tampa, FL)
on August 20th. There will be live fetish performances by Masuimi Max,
Kumi Monster, Dixie Doll, and Rubber Doll. More info can be found at my events page.
April 24th.....Two
of my works of art are getting published in the Magazine, "Tar Wolf
Review". One is my digital image, "Undone" which will be
published in issue 3 (the next edition coming out). The other is my photograph
"Ruin's Beginning", which will be the cover image for issue
4. If you are a fan of my art, purchasing one of these editions would
be a great way of purchasing a copy of one of my artworks and getting
an entire magazine of other artists' beautiful imagery and poetry for
less than the price of a single print of one of my images, when they are
available.
February 17th.....My experimental
classical piano song "Mists of Solace", has been used as the
score to the independent film "Whisper". The film was produced
by Leslie Foster and is a beautiful piece of art, which I am delighted
to have been a part of. It has already been featured at the Firefly and
Sonscreen (where it won second runner up in the dramatic category) film
festivals. It is currently being sent to more film festivals and I will
post where and when those screenings will take place so anyone interested
can go see the short film. Leslie's work is something I am very keen to
see the development of, and we have both expressed interest in working
together in the future.
January 21st.....My last album "A rain of
things which happened in flashes" is currently featured as one of
the selections of the month on one of the better dark art zines on the
net, describing my work as.... "Intros that seem like a prelude to
the horror movie soundtrack for... your life... "....Read more at Morbid
Outlook
January 14th.....slight revamping of my photography
page, with some new photographs.
January 12th.....I was recently featured as the
"personality of the week" in a South African zine called, Underground
Press, which is devoted to the goth industrial scene there. Since
the short interview was only going to be there for one week, I decided
to archive the questions and answers on my webpage. Anyone interested
in garnering slightly more information about me, can read the interview here.
